About

I am a 31-year-old woman who has finally reached a point where the oppressiveness of my past has taken its toll on me.  I started this blog to help me reflect, heal, cope and recover from past traumas.  I am a child-abuse and abandonment survivor.  I’ve gone through countless other traumas in my life.  I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety and PTSD.  This blog is a form of therapy for me, and maybe a long the way I might be able to help other people.

A few personal things:

I love crows, and they come visit me where I work.  I find them beautiful.

I’m am very much into anything macabre, and a couple of my favorite writers are Poe and Lovecraft.  My favorite artist is Hieronymus Bosch.

I love watching documentaries of all sorts, especially on ancient civilizations and religions.

I am a huge horror movie buff.  I will give most any horror movie a fair chance.

I love music, and I don’t limit myself to one genre, but my favorites to listen to are heavy metal, nu-metal and post-grunge.

      Thanks for the nice comments.

As to answer your question…I just finally realized that life is too short. I know in my heart of hearts that my husband is completely devoted to and in love with me. There’s not a woman out there who can hold a candle to me in his heart. The stress of worrying about other women was not worth it, especially because he’s never given me a reason to not trust him.

I think jealousy often stems from lacking the self-esteem to really see yourself as a worthy and lovable person. It can stem a lot from being hurt in the past, maybe even being cheated on. This will make the jealousy monster rear it’s ugly head. Look inside yourself and find out why you are having these issues.

What I think you need to focus on is your partner’s love and devotion to you. Your partner is with you, and by his own volition. If he wanted to be with other people (I’m using he because you said partner, if this is a same-sex relationship, I apologize) he would be.

      Good luck to you.

Ermmm. I dunno what to say… Things which I ‘can’ say are possibly the ones you’re already aware of. I’ll just say one thing that after the hard experiences of 30 years at credit, I’m currently at a blog of a lady who’s strong enough to rely on her OWN self to get healed from wounds. Self-reliance is rarest of traits these days=)

Bless thee always and looking forward to be in contact with you.

I just came across your blog and must say that reading your “About” is amazing. I have an affinity with Crows/Ravens and have even adopted this magnificent creature as my animal totem. I love everything macabre and horror.
